A remix by definition is an alternative version of a song, different from the original version. Unfortunatelly most remixes are really bad and fall way short from the original intent of the song. When Jesus looks at our lives He realizes that we have fallen way short from His original intent for us. We have made our own remix of our lives and honestly, it's not that great. Jesus wants to change that. In this series we will look at the lives of eight individuals that had their lives REmixed by Jesus.
If you’re a member or even a visitor to our campus, you know Forest Lake Church is “bursting at the seams”— five worship services each week, growing study classes, dynamic mid-week services, and ministries of all kinds happening around the clock. After much preparation and prayer, Forest Lake Church begins the journey toward a new time of physical and spiritual growth. Let’s continue to be His light to the world. Let’s “build boldly for Jesus.”
Here’s the deal with DEEPER... We’re passionately seeking an encounter with God. Some people call it a church service, but we prefer the term “Gathering.” You see, we don’t want people to come expecting to be served as much as we want people to gather with the purpose of worshiping an amazing God.
There’s a few things you’ll notice if you come to DEEPER. First, we’re all about God! Our only agenda is lifting Him up and allowing his Word to change us into the individuals He’s destined us to become. Second, we don’t worry about what people are wearing or the color of their hair, or what you had for breakfast because after all, didn’t Jesus say “Come as you are?” On any given Saturday you’ll find people wearing suits, others jeans and t-shirts and sometimes during the holidays argyle sweaters!
The last thing you’ll notice is a group of people in desperate need of a savior. People living in a real world with real issues with the intent of helping each other deal with “life.” At DEEPER we take off our masks understanding that no one is perfect except God.
So if you’re between the ages of 18-35 or just young at heart come join us and help us encounter God together.

For anyone who's been to Deeper in the past but haven't been in a while, it's time to make the trek once again. If you weren't in attendance this past Sabbath then you missed you some of the best worship in music I've heard in a long time. Sea of Glass was there with a full set up which brought all of Deeper to a place of worship and ready for the message. Also Stria performed two songs and let us on the ministry that God has set them on...very cool. So if for no other reason than your looking praise your God in music, you might want to stop by and check out what's happening at Deeper!

Hmm, good question Randy. I think probably Ron Paul, because he seems like the only 100% honest one of the bunch. A guy who tells it like it is, popular or not.

Totally dug this week's sermon. What IS so scary about silence? I never realized how much noise is in my life. I LOVE being challenged at church, it's awesome!
